it was a very moving book meant to reach out to young adults and tell a story of love and betrayal. it teaches us it is not always smart to follow your heart. March Murry has an affair with her childhood sweetheart only to learn he is not the same person as when they were children. Alice Hoffman's writing is magical and she has a way of telling a story of everyday people and making it extraordinary. every life no matter how common place and ordinary can tell an amazing story. all in all i have read this book over and over and it stills teaches me soemthing new everytime. other great books by this other are Green Angel, Ice Queen, and Practical Magic.
