The authors objective in writing this book was to bring to life the semi-popular universe of Warhammer 40k, which is a tabletop miniatures game created by the Games workshop company. The audience for this book realistically is anyone who enjoys books of the science fiction genre, but the specific target audience is anyone familiar with the warhammer universe.
The authors main themes follow the Ultramarine chapter of the Space marines as the fight the enemies of the emperor of mankind across the galaxy. He writes Three novels following these heroes of humanity and the compiles them all into one book, which is the ultramarines omnibus.
My conclusion about the ultramarines omnibus is that it is three exelent novels combined into an even better book. I would advise this book to anyonje who enjoys a substantial amount of reading, or anyone who enjoys a fast paced and engaging story line set in a science fiction world.
I would rate this book overall with four out of five stars.
